Marcel R Wiley, MD, FAAOS

Dr. Marcel Wiley is a Board Certified Orthopaedic Surgeon specializing in Spine Surgery. A proud native Texan from Allen, TX, Dr. Wiley earned his Bachelor of Science in Neurobiology from the University of Texas at Austin, where he received the College of Natural Sciences' highest honor and was selected as a Dean's Honored Graduate in 2009. He then completed his medical degree at The University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio in 2013.

Following medical school, Dr. Wiley pursued residency training in Orthopaedic Surgery at UT Southwestern Medical Center and Parkland Hospital in Dallas, TX, honing his skills from 2013 to 2018. Seeking further expertise, he completed a specialized spine fellowship at the renowned Norton Leatherman Spine Center in Louisville, KY.

Today, as an Orthopaedic Spine Surgeon, Dr. Wiley specializes in treating a diverse range of cervical, thoracic, and lumbar spine conditions. Utilizing cutting-edge navigation and robotic technologies, he ensures precision and efficacy in every procedure. Dr. Wiley is particularly dedicated to employing motion sparing and minimally invasive techniques whenever possible, prioritizing patient comfort and swift recovery.

Outside of medicine, Dr. Wiley treasures time spent with his family. He is happily married to his high school sweetheart, Heather, and together, they enjoy adventures with their three active children. In his free time, Dr. Wiley enjoys watching college football, playing golf, reading, and cycling.
